Burr's Anger... Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton fought over many issues. As NY adversaries, the two lawyers squabbled over a gubernatorial election in 1804. Before that, Hamilton threw his support to his other adversary, Thomas Jefferson, in the Election of 1800. Burr challenged Hamilton to a duel after being labeled "despicable" in a tabloid. Hamilton would fall.
