This is one of the coolest museums in London. The reason why is that it's on site, and unchanged. The underground bunker where Churchill and the government ran the war effort is about two blocks from Parliament. Here, you can see where Churchill slept, ate, ran the war effort, and communicated to Washington DC. As bombs raced overhead, Churchill and the Allies were able to regroup, and plan a winning strategy for WWII.

The Atlantic Phone line connected Churchill to FDR in this room.

The Chiefs of Staff slept down here too.

Another look at the Cabinet War Room.
