Answer:

North = The Union. President Lincoln. Blue uniforms. Major force is the Army of the Potomac (had multiple leaders, but ends with Ulysses S. Grant in charge).

South = The Confederacy. President Jefferson Davis. Gray uniforms. Major force is the Army of Northern Virginia led by Robert E. Lee.
