Definition: Zoroastrianism

One of the oldest religions in the world is still followed today by a small number of participants.

This is a religion based on the teachings of Zoroaster, a prophet in Persia. The religion teaches that the forces of good and evil battle for control of the soul. It is up to a person to fend off the urges of evil. After death, a person’s deeds are judged. Actions on Earth determine if one is permitted to have a blissful afterlife.
