Definition: Reconstruction

1865-1877 was a time period where the following had to be Reconstructed in the South:

1. The South's infrastructure.

2. African Americans had to be given rights and incorporated into the Union.

3. The Southern States had to be readmitted into the Union and follow the Constitution.
