Question: How on Earth did the United States win the Revolutionary War?

Answer:

1. The US had foreign help from France, Spain, and the Netherlands.

2. The US was fighting a defensive battle on their own turf.

3. England left much of its army in Europe which was always in a flux of chaos.

4. The US had higher morale and a desire for independence. It is important to know that the American soldiers were volunteers. There would be no drafting of soldiers until the Civil War.
