Park Guell

Antoni Gaudi is a very famous Spanish artist. His work is almost chaotic. No rules -- ornate -- chaotic -- beautiful. At Park Guell in Barcelona, his work literally sticks out of the wilderness to create an incredible landscape. Part of it kind of looks like the Smurf Village. To get up to the top of Park Guell, you have to climb like 1000 stairs to the top. Then walk down into the artwork. Or, I suppose you could just start on the bottom. But, in 100 degree heat, wouldn't you rather just take the hike? If you are ever in Barcelona, see this park first. Let's just say it's very different. The Gaudi Museum is in the park. It's basically just his house ... you get to see his cabinets and toilet for 4 euros.
