Slovakia
really isn't much of a tourist attraction for American tourists. I
stopped off on the way to Budapest, to its capital, Bratislava.
Immediately, I could tell why the capital wasn't a major tourist
destination. The streets need to be refurbished, and the buildings
too ... oh yeah, not to mention the swastikas I saw on this
building. It's really a shame too, because you can see that beneath
all of the damage, there is a beautiful city that still kind of
exists here. If you point the camera in the right direction, it
looks like a great place, but if you point it in another direction,
you may want to stay on the train. It has all of the makings of a
great place though ... a castle, fun statues, and a beautiful
square.
 
Like on one hand you
have this street, and this building which could be beautiful, and on
the other hand, you have this pretty neat square.
