The
Anne Frank House
The line to get in
could be over an hour. The line wraps around the block, even in the
winter. This shows you just how powerful and influential young Anne
Frank's story has been over the few decades.
The story of the Holocaust
reaches all over the world. In Amsterdam, the world comes to see
where the famous diaries were written. The actual diaries are in the
museum inside. With a little imagination, you can picture the Frank
family living before you. After their capture months before the
War's end, Anne died in a concentration camp from typhoid fever.
Otto Frank survived Auschwitz, and kept the annex untouched as a
museum. Anne's room still has the pictures she put up of famous
movie stars.
