Question: How is the White House Staff organized?

In one of three ways:

1. Pyramid structure - each assistant reports through their boss up to the Chief of Staff.

2. Circular structure - assistants report directly to the President.

3. Ad hoc structure - task forces, committees, and groups of friends report directly to the President.
