| Bank Holiday!... One of the first things FDR did to attempt to get the US out of the Depression was shut down banks until they proved sound enough to reopen. This became known as the "Bank Holiday." It was so popular that Madonna recorded this sound you are listening to in honor of the New Deal. | |
