Pact, 1939
Remember: Russia was Napoleon's ally.
Napoleon invaded Russia. Napoleon lost. The same would be true of
Hitler. In 1939, the Soviets and Germans agreed not to attack each
other. Because both powers were natural enemies, many were skeptical
of this agreement.
