Definition: Kristallnacht (scroll down for answer)       Definition: Kristallnacht, 1938 Kristallnacht translates to "night of broken glass." On November 9, 1938 Nazi soldiers attacked Jewish people, as well as their homes and synagogues. Thousands of Jewish establishments were burned and vandalized all over Germany and Austria.
