Definition: Renaissance (scroll down for answer)       Definition: Renaissance This was a time period from about 1350-1520 that saw a “rebirth” of learning and culture in Europe. There was also a belief in individualism, as unlike those born into wealth, a new merchant and artistic class believed that one should be judged by achievements.
