Definition: Zoroastrianism
One of the
oldest religions in the world is still followed today by a small
number of participants.
This is a
religion based on the teachings of Zoroaster, a prophet in Persia.
The religion teaches that the forces of good and evil battle for
control of the soul. It is up to a person to fend off the urges of
evil. After death, a person’s deeds are judged. Actions on Earth
determine if one is permitted to have a blissful afterlife.
