7 dollars a gallon as of 2007!!! Hawaii is not known for its cows, actually, it has roosters walking the streets (see above.) Simple Supply and Demand ... Papayas are 50 cents a piece there, but a bowl of Captain Crunch may set you back. Below was my reaction to milk years earlier in Wisconsin ... where milk is literally free, and it expires next Christmas.
