US Regents Civic Literacy Essay Explained!
	(United States Regents Review Sheet)     NOTE: The Essay is graded on a scale of 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest)             Tip #5: How many Paragraphs?!?!!? Students are always scared about how many paragraphs they should write. Well ... according to the state standard you need to do the following: Have a logical and clear plan of organization. Also, have an introduction and conclusion that doesn't just restate the theme. But if you really need an answer as to how many paragraphs, I would recommend one for each bullet ... so that would be 3 body, 1 intro, and 1 conclusion. •Describe the historical circumstances surrounding this constitutional or civic issue •Explain efforts by individuals, groups, and/or governments to address this constitutional or civic issue •Discuss the extent to which these efforts were successful ( they could also make the third bullet question  •Discuss the impact of the efforts on the United States and/or American society)  < >     (United States Regents Review Sheet)
