LINKS FOR DEALS

Compare prices across the web at www.kayak.com. That will fly through www.expedia.com, www.orbitz.com, and others (which are usually similar in price anyway.) Be sure to check daily for changes to all airline and hotel prices.

Nice little tip for you -- you can usually find coupons for expedia and orbitz online which can knock a lot off of the price.

If you are looking for cruise deals, check out www.cruisecritic.com, and click on "deals." Along those lines, you might want to register at www.vacationstogo.com to keep tabs on all of the latest cruise prices. I think that's the best site to navigate.

A great site for deals you won't find elsewhere ... www.travelzoo.com ... type in your destination and check out the deals. They too can give you new deals for cruises. Off Peak, you can get a cruise for just dollars a day.

For random questions, and reviews of hotels ... always check out www.tripadvisor.com before booking.

Know the weather record before booking anything off peak ... www.weatherunderground.com

Here's a great overview of the European Rail System.

Along those lines ... this site saved me hundreds ... www.euraide.com. This guy in Florida worked through Thanksgiving to get me train reservations directly from Germany. Way cheaper than buying in the US.

Free maps and a good review system for hotels, and sites ... www.frommers.com
