LIMA
Iglesia de San Francisco is
famous by itself. However, beneath the church are the fascinating
catacombs. I got this picture off of an educational website (no
photography allowed). In the days of Spanish rule, the church was used
as a cemetery. A similar site could be seen in Austria's St. Stephen's
Cathedral. Also, royal remains are there ...

Huaca Pucllana is
more ancient than the Incas. This is an adobe excavation site that
details a culture from c200 AD.
The remains of
Conquistador Francisco Pizarro are
buried at this Cathedral in the Main Square.
Gold never found by the
Spanish from Pre-Incan civilizations.
Parque de Amor is
a recreation of the famous
Park Guell in Barcelona.
The two major
squares of Lima. On the horse on the left is Jose San Martin in the
Andes Mountains. On the right is the main plaza.
