The Sacred Valley of the Incas

         

The Sacred Valley is so named for the Sacred Urubumba river that runs between Cusco and Machu Picchu, and further down to the Amazon. In the Sacred Valley, Incan cultures still thrive in certain towns. Chincero and Ollayantambo still have the same streets as they did 500 years ago.
